Coordinating Dispatch Centre (CDC) “Energiya” is an NGO set up in 1993 to oversee the energy flows between the electricity grids of the Central Asia Power System (CAPS). The assignment aims to support the increase in power trade within CAPS by introducing the Energy Data Management (EDM) system to CDC. EDM system is a high-level technology and will be deployed to replace all Soviet-era equipment and processes at CDC to increase its effectiveness. Introduction of modern systems should increase volumes of telemetry information collected by CDC and will allow centralization of CAPS emergency automation.

Services provided

Juru will collaborate with the consortium partners to produce the following:
  • Undertake needs assessment of CDC;
  • Develop EDM system Design Basis Memorandum;
  • Develop EDM system design;
  • Develop modular procurement plan;
  • Develop tender documents;
  • Support bidding process and bid evaluation report;
  • Support training of CDC personnel.
