Project features

The Sazagan OHTL project site area is located in Tashkent, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions. For this project Acwa Power contracted Juru to conduct Geotechnical Investigations, Topographical Survey and Hydrological Study for 420km OHTL.

Services provided

• Carry out geotechnical investigations with a total of 59 boreholes (15 meters depth) and 2 trials pits (3 meters depth) and conduct other field tests.
  
• Submit a Geotechnical Report with recommendations for designing OHTL.  
• Perform a detailed topographical survey within 420 km OHTL including access roads and transmission lines using Unmanned Aerial drones adhering to specified grid mesh requirements.
• Develop a hydrology study report, encompassing flood risk assessment, drainage design recommendations, and mitigation strategies based on detailed analysis of site-specific conditions and historical flood data including flood level of 100-year (1% AEP), 50-year (2% AEP), 25-year (4% AEP) and 10-year (10%AEP)
